I have a 99 ford expedition. Replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. Drove about 10 miles. Pulled into my driveway and vehicle died. Replaced fuel pump thinking first pump was defected. Now vehicle will start but upon putting it into nuetral or excellerating vehicle trys to die doesn't have the power to drive. Overdrive light flashes, odometer comes on and off at random times, runs rough, never did this before until fuel pump two was put on. It's not driveable what could be wrong?

first, check the fuel pressure. we need that spec.

the pumps may have failed from dirt in the fuel. always drain tank and flush. the dirt may have got up to the injectors and contaminated them not allowing them to seal.
