Ford Escort Wiring Problem
Dashlights turn off when headlights or parklights are turned on i replaced turnsignal switch assy but no good dashlights are on when car is started and headlight switch is off

according to my wiring info, with the headlamp switch off, the dash lights should not be on. Maybe a problem with wiring circuit? Give me a second and I'll post wiring diagram.

Can you read wiring diagrams? The park lamp relay has to be energized before the instrument cluster lamps will get voltage. The ground for the cluster lamps is through the dimmer module. What about the dimmer for interior lamps, have you tried that?
