Dodge Stratus Battery Problem

Replaced battery, still won't start. Could it be the alternator or ignition switch?

What's the symptom? "Won't start" can mean a dozen different things. The alternator, ignition switch, battery, and starter can all be involved but all will cause different symptoms and clues.

(Have to run to town. Will check back in a few hours).

Again, what is the symptom? Does the starter crank the engine? Do you hear just a single loud clunk each time you turn the ignition switch to "crank"? Do you hear a rapid chattering or buzzing? Does the engine crank at a normal speed but doesn't start and run? All of those fall under "doesn't start" and all of them might be overcome with a jump start.
