1999 Dodge Ram Tam 1500 318 Cold Out Takes Ever Start Does Start Cand Hold

I have a dodge tam 1500 with the 318 in it and when its cold out it takes for ever to start.and when it does start i cand hold it to the floor and it barely gets up to an idol until it warms up.but when its warm out it start easy and runs good except every once in awhile it loses power like your foot slips off the pedal and all most die. But you can put it in nuetral,shut it off and start it back and it runs good again.
Need help please.
