Truck stalls when coming to a stop

If the gasket on the throttle body breaks and is not on can that cause the vehicle to stall like a vacuum leak.When I say gasket on throttle body I mean where you put the piece that fits over the throttle body where the air filter is on the gasket

yup it causes a vacuumleak and may set a code. replace it and clean throttleplate on both sides with choke cleaner as wel as iac hole

Where can I get the gasket from I tried several auto stores and you have to buy the whole assembly

I think I told you the wrong part.This part is round looks like a gasket and fits between the throttle body and the air cover,where it tightens up on the throttle body the gasket I saw looks different than what I need.It looks like its about 1/8 of an inch thick and does not have holes in it

if t his is a V10 as you didn't give engine size it is replaced as a unit. the whole upper intake and tb it looks like. but check with a dealer they may have that part.

we cant even find anything in our manual about that. go to adealer and you can point it out on his computer what you need. this may be only a dealer item.
