oil pressure goes up and down.

6 psi at idle. 30--80 psi at 3000 rpms, warm engine.

Do you have any type of engine knocking noises?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearing.
