Hi I have a Daewoo Lanos Sx from 1999.I have a problem in the vent selector. It seems that the guides for window/front/feet etc vent selector broke. The rest of the system is ok. I have cold and hot air and fan speed is ok also. What I would like to know its from where can I fix the guides. From front panel and taking all the panel or from the hood to get an easier access? Ty in advance.

You have cables that contorl that. I'm sending a pic that shows the back of the control unit. More than likely a cable has broken and needs replacing. For whatever part it effects.

Do you know if the 2002 Daewoo Leganza also had a similar cable setup? Mine will not change to heat. Thanks

Yes it is similar. The cables end up getting gummed up which makes it difficult to change settings. You should try a lubricant to see if that helps. Try to look through the glove box and under the dash to see if you can get to the cable pivots.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

It's actually the plastic thing that holds the cables in place that breaks. Just disassembled the whole thing and repaired mine with super glue.

Thanks for this post. I have no experience at all but decided to have a go at it because of you guys and now everything is perfect!
