1999 Chrysler Other Repair Question

When i start my car in the morning it starts fine but i have to wait a couple of minuets till warms up or it will cut out if i put my foot on the accelerater any ideas please help

The car is a voyager

Check and test the coolant temperature sensor-also clean the idle air control valve/throttle body and see what happens
