I am asking how to get a oil pan removed without lift on a 1999 concorde 2.7...extremely frustrating....I love this car and there are no other mechanical problems with it.. as far as the pan.. i have gotten all bolts on pan removed it is free but i cant seem to get passed the sway bar enough to drop it with out a lift any help would be appreciated...very much sooooo.

The instructions say it can be done without lifting the engine. You do have to remove the oil filter first. Just try manipulating it around until you get clearance. If you can't get it that way, reach over the pan and unbolt the screen pickup tube.

Thank you very much.. i am amazed at how quick this was.. also i will try your idea...being unfamiliar with mechanics of a car is hard..but being a female is no excuse but it is hard but willing to learn.. just in case i might need other ideas...but thank you.. alot

Changing an oil pan without a lift is no picnic for anyone.

well i got the screen pickup tube..well one bolt on driver side... i am sure with some bending of arms i can get the otherside...just wanted to let you know thanks..... it helped out alot...
