Timeing belt tension pulley

99 chry 300 will bad timeing belt tensioner pulley cause engine to overheat I can't tell if water pumps bad and was hopeing it is but bearings came out of ten pul Thanks

Yes, it could its not tensioned properly and the water pump is being affected by it not turning fast enough

If that pulley let go while driving, overheating would be the least of your worries. This is an interference in and a jumped timing belt can bend all the valve in the engine.

If I have to pick one of the two
i would pick the water pump
physical check is needed to verify
