I found a exposed hole underneath my truck between the oil and transmission pans. I'm not sure if a plug is supposed to be here or not but it appears it may be leaking coolant from this hole. Any ideas on the part name and if a plug is needed? Thanks in advance for the help! -David ( Chevrolet c2500 )

This hole is normal. The flywheel is inside this cover.

Usually if you see fluid, it is either the rear main seal leaking oil from the engine or transmission fluid from the front of the transmission.
