6.5 turbo diesel has dead spots in thottle from stop runs fine above 30 mph

is the check engine light on?? it could be the turbo beginning to fail. Get the turbo checked by a truck shop to verify.

Does it smoke and / or loose power? I have a 1999 K3500 doing a similar thing. Sometimes the turbo can be heard running and other times it does not sound like it's running at all. Low power at that time.

Any ideas?
