Chevrolet S-10 Starter Problem

Will not start, battery good, dash lights up. 5-speed manual, replaced clutch pedal switch - no fix. Have attempted many combinations of clutch in/out, in gear/out of gear, emer brake on/off...Should start with Emer brake on/clutch in/ out of gear - but will not. Not dragging like its the starter, just single click uhder dash when turning key. Chevy S-10

You need a starter. Try tapping and I mean tapping the starter. Use the back end of a screw driver. You don't have to smash the shit out of it. Just enough to seat the brushes on the armature. This does not always work, but usually it does. If not the check for power @ starter opon cranking. If no power then you'll just have to trace it back to the next thing possibly a relay fuse? Replace as needed.

If that doesn't work then tighten your lug nuts. Sure it won't help but it wouldn't hurt.
