Chevrolet S-10 Oil pan Problem

Hello, I checked my oil yesterday to find that it was bone dry. I cleaned the undside and put a quart in to sit overnight and rechecked in the morning. I'm not sure what I', looking at here, but it seems to be the source of the leak. http://imgur.com/5h1Pgsv

The pan on the right is the oil pan. That section is the location of the rear main oil seal. My guess is that the rear main seal is leaking and splashing back on the transmission bell housing. If you replace the oil pan gasket (which includes the rear main) I feel the leak will stop.
