I have a 99 chevy lumina ltz 3.8 liter car. Recently it has been giving me fits. It started over heating and stalling out. Changed the thermostat and it helped for a week or so. Then it started smoking from the back of the motor. So we changed the water p I have hear the heat pump hoses could cause some of the problems. The car does not blow heat and the defroster does not work correctly.
