When I start my car just after the engine turns over it starts to make a whirling noise. The noise sounds like it is coming from the top rear of the engine compartment. It sounds like plastic grinding. It lasts for 1-2 seconds then goes away. The car runs fine afterwards.

Used a stethoscope on the noise. It only makes the noise when the car is cold. The noise seems to be coming from the top right of the engine right by the fuel rail. Could it be an injector?
