1999 Chevrolet Cavalier Repair Question

Chevrolet Cavalier Radio Problem
I bought the car used and rebuilt the motor. The car is a Chevy cavalier 1999 2.2 liter 4 cylinder. Two door, Manuel transmission.
The car has some bad electrical problems, first off it is slow to crank sometimes. Also the radio will shut off when I turn the air on or push note clutch, gas, or brakes. All the lights on the dash are always on. I just want my radio to work! It may be a bad ground somewhere, could I get a diagram of the ground wires? And what to check?

ground wires are attached to engine at top of trans. check your battery for condtion and load test. check your charging system for operation
