Something is stopping my 1999 cadillac deville from moving forward, reverse is good drive is good but something just wont let me drive, its like when you slam it in park and you get that***** feel when it stop, is it my axle but their is no clicking noise when turning from the axle or something in the brakes when I push the brakes it feels and sounds like its grinding but the pads are good

Start with a scan to check for any electrical problem with shift solenoids, I do feel this will be a job for a trans tech to check out, they can do a scan and test and report for you, I would start here.

Also will the car roll forward in neutral easily?
