Volkswagen Polo Starter Problem
My polo will not start , it was starting with a push but not with key.

Ignition switch or starter... does the car have an alarm system?
Can you supply power to the starter directly to see if it works?
VW's (of that year) in North America had a factory alarm that "prevents" the starter from cranking.
You will need to check if power goes through the ignition switch to the starter wire.... if it has an alarm, see if the power
gets to the alarm and exits the alarm.
