Volkswagen Fox Valves Problem
If the timing belt broke on a 1800 Fox will the pistons bend the valves

very likely it will. just get the belt set and do a compression test to verify

If it is a 1.8L 2 valve like we have here in North America, then it should not bend valves.
What is the engine code, so I can look up the information.
