Suzuki Sidekick Trouble code Problem

Our car was missing terribly and lost power .My husband tried to reset the timing. He has replaced plugs and plug wires. The car will start now but still no power. Catalytic converter was replaced in May 2012. What else can be causing this problem? Can the timing still be off ?

it has 3 marks to verify the timing and the tentioners go bad and belts stretch but I would scan the car for trouble codes before I moved foward It may be the mass air flow sensor but scan first

After plugs and cable replacement, is the misfiring still here? Yes, check for trouble codes and have the fuel pressure tested if necessary.
