Car wont start

Hi my 98 wrx was running great until I used the high pressure hose at the local car wash. After the was I jumped back into the car to drive off and the car wouldnt start.

1998 Subaru WRX Engine Problem with 121000 miles

Hi my 98 wrx was running great until I used the high pressure hose at the local car wash. After it was washed I jumped back into the car to drive off and the car wouldnt start.

Too many electronic components to pressure wash. Will need to disconnect and dry every thing. Electronic contact cleaner good to use

Seems a little crazy that in this day and age you can't wash a car with the bonnet down in fear of electrical components getting wet.

Sadly it seems you are way off the mark it was actually the fuel pump and had nothing to do with washing the car
