Car will not start but turns over

My 98saturn sl2 will not start checked compression, spark fuel pump next day car started called a mechanic for some input said could b ignition switch sensor I installed a new one car started but when I shut car off car will not re start please help

What's the ignition switch sensor?Do you mean the ignition switch that is on the ignition housing?Do you have any code's?So when it doesn't start does it crank no start?If so sound's like a bad crankshaft sensor. If that's the case next time it doesn't start see if you have spark. Let me know what you find.
