The temperature guage drops when accelerating. We've changed the engine temp sensor and the thermostat, but still the same problem. Have bled the air out of the coolant system. Any ideas on the problem and how to fix it?

Your engine's temperature should drop a little when you accelerate because more air is flowing across the radiator. How much of a drop are you talking about? Check the alternator output, at idle and when you increase the engine speed. Do any of the lights seem to dim a little when you accelerate?
