Pontiac Grand Am Fuel pump Problem

Stalling out while driving down the road and the weather outside is hot. Soes not do in the winter.

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs-start here-fuel pump could be failing

i called a autoparts store they told me its more then likely the Crankshaft Position Sensor thats causing the care to stall they said its loseing its magenetic charger from the heat...

30 seconds is not right away. you could test for spark right after it quits.

if it was like my grand am it was the fuel pump changed it with one from local junkyard runs fine now even in the heat :)
