1998 pontiac grand prix, will not turn over. Have charged the battery, all electrical works but the car will not turn over. Starter makes no noise. What should I try next?

If the starter won't crank, check the starter circuit. Did you try cranking in neutral? The purple wire at the starter solenoid should be hot with key in the crank position?
