1998 Pontiac Grand Prix • 158,882 miles
I have a 98 grand prix that over heats i've put 2 jugs of anti freeze in it and 2 jugs of water as well and it still has n luck, any ideas? i replaced the thermostat and radiator cap(because i lost the one that was on there)
Get a pressure test to find the elak. there are way too many places for leaking and for us to guess. hope you did not blow a head gasket from the overheating
Well, im not sure if its the head gasket because there isnt water or antifreeze in my oil.
Could it be the heater core, the heater doesnt work in the car.
Is there coolant on the floor in the car??
No, it's bone dry
Get a pressure test to start
Ive put another jug of water into the system and its not leaking out but it's not staying cool. the thermostat i bought isn't opening up when its supposed to either, im thnking of just buying another thermostat and seeing where to go from there
