Pontiac Grand Am Engine Problem
Erratic idling.......suspecting TPS. How do you change sensor. Or is this something the shop should do.

tps is not your issue. do not guess or throw parts at it. get it properly diaged and get a pin point failure.
could be vacuum leak which is common.
you provided no engine size so I generalized.
