On 3.8 fuel injectors there is a o-ring on the bottom where it fits into intake. There is also a thin ceramic or plastic ring what is its purpose. I replaced upper intake plenum gasket because of water leak. I was going to replace the bottom o-ring on the injectors and two of the small thin rings just fell into pieces. What do they actually do. Thank u

Ok the bottom oring seals from vacuum leaks and fuel. The nylon ring isnt big enough to seal anything it fits tight to injector but not in the bore in intake

So did you get the injectors all fixed up?Looks Like that Nylon ring keeps the oring from moving out of place.
