battery and it still wont keep a charge?

My Pontiac wont keep a charge we replaced the alternator and the battery and it still wont keep a charge both of these things are new so what could be wrong with my car?

wont start with out jumping it and it don't stay started long before losing the charge, both alternator and battery are new.
