I have 1998 Pontiac Bonneville, which the motor was replaced with a 1991 olds 88 3800 v-6, 3.8lL. My problem is the head gaskets blowed because It was blowing white smoke out the tailpipe. We have replaced the head gaskets and intake gaskets new head bolts, new oil, new plugs, etc. Now the car is back together, we started it but it kept dieing. It was still blowning white smoke, did we just spend 500.00 dollars on a motor thats not worth fixing? What could this be? I have had this car for 8 years, Its been a good car and I don't want to junk it if I don't have to. Please help!

Did you get a guarantee with the motor? You may have to use computer from donor vehicle to get anything to work. Do a compression test on the engine.
