I have a 98 plymouth neon and it keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse. I drove 10 miles before it happened. Then it kept blowin through them every quarter mile. What could cause this?

Direct power from the battery to the fuel pump with an inline fuse if it blows the fuel pump is no good.

Trace the circuit from the fuel pump fuse, thru the fuel pump relay all the way to the fuel pump
