Ok. The manual says "if your vehicle seems to start up rather slowly, or if it seems not to shift gears as you go faster, something may be wrong with a transaxle system sensor". The car runs fine except I cannot start out in drive. Every other gear works to start driving. Once I get to about 20-25 mph I can shift back into drive and its fine. Any ideas?

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up?

How's the transmission fluid level and condition ??

Sounds like you got a transmission problem -could be a shifting solenoid/s bring her in and have pressure tested-
