All of a sudden my steering got really tough. Turns right OK , But left turn has no power ?

Replace the rack and pinion assembly and have the car aligned. Leakage past the seals inside the spool valve in the rack assembly is real common on GM front-wheel-drive cars. Don't get a rack and pinion from the dealer or you'll have the same problem. Independent shops get theirs from the local parts stores and most of those have been modified by the rebuilders with stainless steel inserts to prevent a repeat problem.

The power assist to the left should come back once the power steering fluid warms up, but it will take a little longer each day.
