Car wont start dont no weather its my battry or starter motor. Ive tried jump starting it. But it just makes a ticking sound then completly dies.

Check battery for charge first must read 12.4 volts at least. Then try jumping it or taek the battery in for testing at anauto parts/tire store they do it for free most of the time.
