I have a new power steering pump and i was driving without fluid for a little while cause i heard you had to bleed the air out. i put fluid in on feb 1st,turned my car on and turned the wheels from left to right, its easier to turn but it makes a whine so
1998 eclipse rs 105,000 miles, new power steering pump.. but its making a whine noise and i dont think i bled the air out correctly

Make sure the reservoir is full. Keep the lid off. Start the engine. Slowly turn the wheel from side to side, lock to lock several times.
