1998 Mercury Sable Repair Question

Fuse relay issues causing windows not to work
The windows went down today on my way into work and would not go back up. The power seats are now working either. It is a 98 mercury sable and whenever i try to change the 30 amp relay fuse it blows right away. How do i get around this or at least role up my windows?????

If the fuse blows right away, you have to have a direct short. You need to check the wiring to the systems for bare wires or damaged ones. As far as the window, if you can't get power to it, it won't go up. Check the wiring between the door and door frame for damage.
