Heater hoses

I have a broken heater hose that goes under the manafold and I need to know how to replace it. Im being told that the manafold needs to come off in order to get to it. And im not sure how to do this can you help.

If it is heater hoses, it should not be too difficult as the book time is 0.5 for 4 cyl engines and 0.7 for V6.

Locate the hose that you wish to replace and at either end of hose there would be a spring clamp. Use a plier to release the clamp and move it away from the locked position. Slowly twist off heater hose at engine side. At heeater core side it is best to use a sharp blade to cut the hose ( take care not to damage the heater core joints).
