Hello,

The engine oil dip stick on this vehicle, has an O-ring at the end where it goes into the engine and also has a bracket for a mounting bolt. The mounting bolt can come loose overtime and allow the tube to come out.

If you were to start the engine and drive the car without the dipstick tube, oil will spill out of that hole and you will lose oil quite fast.
So, it is not recommended to drive or start the engine without that tube installed.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
