Honda Civic Maintenance Problem
I am considering purchasing a 1998 Honda Civic for my son who is just learning to drive. I keep hearing that the tranny is an issue for that car. I am reconsidering. Does it really have transmission issues that would warrant looking for something else?

not in my eyes. trans issues mostly come from lack of maintenance. it id not the car, it is the owners
have a trans shop check it for you before you make your decision
