Engine running unevenly

My Honda accord v6 is not firing well. Most often the engine does not run smoothly. It brings heavy black smoke from the exhaust. The check engine light is shown.

Sounds like it is your head gasket.

Get a scan done to retrieve the trouble code first.

You seem to have a bad misfiring and at least one or more cylinder is not working correctly.

Prolonged driving would damage the catalytic converter as it would be glowing red hot.
