1998 Honda Accord Repair Question

Honda Accord Ignition switch Problem

The car stalls while I am driving. It takes approx. 5 mins to start gain. The longest has been half an hour. There is also sometimes the smell of gas immediately after the car has been driven

Do you have a check engine light? If so, diagnose from there. Have that trouble code checked out and it will direct you in the proper direction. These cars sometimes have problems with the main relay going bad as well as the ignition switch. Take a look at this thread-

The main relay is an easy fix and cheap. The ignition switch is a bit more expensive and time consuming but it could be the problem as well.

There is a chance there is recall on the ignition switch with your car as well-
