Car overheating, checked thermostat, radiator, coolant fine.. Any other ideas as to what it could be and how to fix it??

Tested the thermostat in boiling water, appears fine. Radiator is full of coolant which also appears fine. The car overheats badly after 10 mins or so of running. Burning smell coming from engine, suspect it could be the water heated

Do a block test to see if it has a bad head gasket. Any white smoke from tailpipe? Test kit is available at parts store.

Common problems on these are water pumps with disintegrated impellers, faulty cooling fan sensors, blocked radiator core tubes, check all these as well.
