I have a cold start problem with my K-1500 Vortec 350. The starter cranks over but it takes several trys to get the truck to start. I can hear the fuel pump cycle and in the past as soon as I turned the key the truck would start

Put an accurate fuel pressure gauge on it before attempting to start it and see what the fuel pressure does during the first 4-5 seconds of cranking. This engine requires a minimum of 56-58 PSI to start in cold weather. It should be over 60.
