1998 Ford Taurus Repair Question

Have a 98 Ford Taurus with brakde issues. Bled brakes - got a lot of air. Now pedal is very hard and stopping power is intermittent. Front pads are good. Can't get rear drums off to inspect. How do we troubleshoot? What are next steps? Thanks, Pat

You question doesn't make sense. From what is written I would guess that you might have a problem with the master cylinder, but I would need more info before I can really give you more help than that.
