Truck Cutting out after initial turnover and rev up
Truck turns over fine, and you hear it do the initial rev up. Then immediately starts sputtering and shaking. I rarely drive the vehicle, but it has had some cut-out issues in the past. Now its gotten to the point where it will die immediately after shaking. In the past it was difficult to get out of first gear because it would cut out as you applied gas, but if you kept the peddle down, it would rev up. Once in 2nd, 3rd or 4th it wasn't as difficult.
Again... now it fires, and rev's up fine, but in about 2 seconds it immediately starts shaking and cuts out and dies.
I am going to throw on some new plugs and wires today. My main thought was the catalytic converter, but I don't have anything to test the output pressure. I'm probably going to need to cut it out.
Any ideas? I'm stumped.
