Truck cranks but wont start

Truck will crank over but wont start, after a little bit with a shot of starting fluid and a jump start(because the battery was dieing) it would start. Then next time it would not start, it would crank over strong then all of asudden no power to anything, dead as can be. Any ideas?

So is the battery dieing while its running?Have you had the battery tested?Made sure the battery cabkes are cleanand tight?Any codes?Have you checked for codes yet?

Battery dies while cranking it over for an extended period, battery starts out real strong. Not dieing while running. Only code it showed was p0455, but cleared itself 2 days just before it lost all power while cranking it over

So when it doesnt start we need to check spark actual fuel pressure and for injector pluse?So does it start and run at all?
