it will stay on heat but wont swicth over to ac

my 1998 ford mustang wont swicth from heat to ac what could cause that?

you may have a leak in the A/C system, low refrigerant will cause the system to not start up, get this checked first.

Also check the air blend door could be stuck in the heat position
