How to replace power steering pump on 1998 ford expedition

You need a special puller to remove the pump pulley first, other wise you cant access the pump bolts, do you have access to this tool? The part # is T69L-10300-B, see pic.

No I don't have access to this tool. But is it impossible to do without it. And is it completely necessary to take apart the entire fan assembly. Cause that is what I have heard. Thanks.

Personally I have never done this job, I can only go by what is in the manual, as for any short cuts this I just can comment on, to my mind you will not be able to access the attach bolts with the pulley in place.
