When i speed up to 55 mph my car hesitate like it is trying to find the right gear, in town no problem

Is the Malfunction Indicator Light showing?
When was the fuel filter last replaced?
Did you check the transmission fluid level?

no there is no light showing.the fluid is fine,i have not changed the fuel filter.

Poor engine performance can affect gear changes and there are many other possible causes as well.
Start with a fuel filter change to see if it helps.

It is possible but usually it would trigger trouble codes.
